These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Project β'r, including the Project β'r mobile application, website, content, features, subscriptions, and related services. By using Project β'r, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Project β'r is a men's wellbeing and self-awareness app designed to help users build confidence, self-control, calmness, body awareness, and healthier intimacy through guided daily practices, reflection, progress tracking, audio sessions, education, and habit training. Project β'r is intended for personal wellness, education, and self-awareness only. The app is distributed exclusively through the Apple App Store and runs on iPhone devices running a supported version of iOS.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Project β'r. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. Project β'r addresses adult topics including sexual wellbeing, and the App Store places the app in the 17+ age rating category. If you are the parent or guardian of someone using this app who is under 18, please contact support@projectbetter.io and we will remove their access.
Project β'r is not a medical product, healthcare service, therapy service, urologist consultation, sexual health clinic, or emergency service. The app does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, disorder, or medical condition — including erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, low libido, hormonal imbalance, anxiety disorders, depression, or any other clinical condition. Content in the app is provided for general wellness, education, and self-awareness purposes only. You should not use Project β'r as a substitute for professional medical, psychological, sexual health, or therapeutic advice.
If you experience persistent physical symptoms, mental health concerns, sexual dysfunction, or signs of a medical condition, consult a qualified healthcare provider. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a mental health crisis line immediately — Project β'r is not equipped to respond to emergencies.
You are responsible for how you use Project β'r. You agree to use the app in a safe, lawful, and responsible way. You should stop any exercise, breathing practice, meditation, or other activity if you feel pain, dizziness, discomfort, emotional distress, or any unsafe reaction. Kegel training, breathwork, cold-shower protocols, and audio meditations are voluntary practices — if you have a diagnosed medical condition (including but not limited to cardiovascular disease, pelvic floor injury, low blood pressure, seizure disorder, or pregnancy in a partner requiring your active caregiving) please consult your doctor before beginning.
Project β'r may offer paid subscriptions that unlock premium features and content. Subscriptions are purchased through Apple In-App Purchase. Available subscription plans may include 7 days, 30 days, or Annual. Exact prices, trial availability, billing periods, and subscription terms are shown in the app and in the App Store before purchase.
Free trials. Some subscriptions may include a free trial if offered. If a free trial is available, it will be shown before purchase. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, your subscription may automatically convert into a paid subscription through Apple. You are responsible for managing or cancelling your subscription through your Apple ID settings.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled through your Apple ID subscription settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage renewal at any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Project β'r on your iPhone.
Refunds and Apple's policies. Payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies. Project β'r does not directly process refunds for App Store purchases. To request a refund, use Apple's official refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple approves a refund, your entitlement to premium features will be revoked at the end of the current billing period or immediately, depending on Apple's determination.
You agree not to use Project β'r for unlawful purposes, copy, resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit app content, reverse engineer, modify, or interfere with the app, attempt to bypass subscription access controls, upload or submit harmful, abusive, illegal, or infringing content, use the app in a way that harms Project β'r, other users, or third-party services, or misrepresent your age or eligibility. We may suspend or terminate access to the app if we reasonably believe you have violated these acceptable-use rules.
Project β'r, including its name, design, branding, content, text, graphics, icons, exercises, audio, software, and app experience, is owned by or licensed to Project β'r. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your own personal purposes. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual-property rights to you. You may not reproduce, publish, translate, resell, or create derivative works of any Project β'r content without our prior written consent.
User content. Anything you enter into your Self-Being Log, mood entries, or reflection notes remains yours. You grant Project β'r a limited license to store and display that content back to you within the app so we can provide functionality (streaks, insights, weekly summaries). We do not use your Self-Being Log or reflections to train external AI models, and we do not display your content to any other user.
Project β'r integrates with a small number of third-party services to work correctly: Apple (App Store distribution, Apple ID, In-App Purchase, Apple Health optional integration for step count), RevenueCat (subscription management), and infrastructure providers for backend hosting and email delivery. Your use of Project β'r is also subject to the terms of those third parties where applicable.
Project β'r is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, reliability, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee specific results from using the app. Individual outcomes from wellbeing practices vary and depend on many factors outside the app's control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Project β'r will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, personal dissatisfaction, emotional distress, or interruption of service. Your use of the app is at your own risk. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct where such limitation is not permitted).
You may stop using Project β'r at any time by cancelling your subscription in Apple ID subscription settings and deleting the app from your iPhone. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if we're required to do so by law, or if we discontinue the app. Where feasible we will provide reasonable notice before termination that is not caused by your breach.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Project β'r's publishing entity is registered, without reference to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing in this clause affects mandatory consumer rights you may have under the law of your country of residence. Any dispute will first be attempted to be resolved informally by writing to support@projectbetter.io — please give us a chance to make it right before escalating.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify users through the app, on this page, or by email if you are on the waitlist. Continued use of the app after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
