Quick answers
The fastest path is usually the one below. If your question isn’t covered, write to us above.
A real person replies — usually within a day. Send us a note about your account, billing, privacy, or anything that's not working as expected.
Use the support form to reach the Project β'r team. Choose a topic — Account, Billing, Privacy and data, Bug report, or Other — write a short subject and a clear description of your issue. Include any error messages, steps to reproduce, or the rough date this started happening. The more context you can share, the faster we can help.
Every ticket goes into a single queue that is reviewed daily by a human. There is no chatbot layer, no automated triage that closes tickets based on keywords, and no offshore call center. If we can't answer immediately we will still acknowledge the ticket the same day and give you a realistic ETA.
To speed things up, please tell us your iPhone model and iOS version, the app version if applicable, and whether you're on the App Store or the private waitlist. If you're reporting a bug, describe what you expected to happen and what actually happened. Screenshots help. Screen recordings help even more — the iPhone screen-recorder in Control Center produces a shareable video with taps highlighted.
Every message goes to a real member of the team, not a chatbot. We reply from support@projectbetter.io. If you don't see our reply within 24 hours (48 on weekends), please check your spam folder — occasionally our first message lands there. If your email provider filters our reply as promotional, you can add support@projectbetter.io to your contacts to make sure future messages arrive in your inbox.
Project β'r subscriptions are managed through the App Store. To cancel, refund, or change your subscription plan, use your Apple ID subscription settings on your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Project β'r. Refunds go through Apple's official process at reportaproblem.apple.com, not through us directly, but we can help you navigate it.
If a subscription didn't unlock premium features after purchase, first try Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Project β'r → Offload App, then reinstall. If that doesn't restore your entitlement, tap "Restore purchases" inside the app so RevenueCat can re-sync your Apple ID transaction history. If it still doesn't work, send us the last four digits of your App Store transaction ID (found in your Apple receipt email) and we will verify the entitlement manually.
If you'd like a copy of your data, want to delete your data, or want to correct information stored about you, write to support@projectbetter.io with the subject "Privacy request" — we handle these within 30 days and will confirm receipt right away. For GDPR-scope requests we may ask a few identity-verification questions to make sure we send data to the right person.
You can also unsubscribe from any Project β'r broadcast email using the one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom of every message — no reply needed, and it takes effect immediately.
If something isn't working, tell us what you tried and what happened. If the app crashed, please note whether it was a specific screen (Plan, Tracker, Library, Self-Being Log, Audio session, Kegel training). If a subscription didn't unlock features, please include the last four digits of your App Store transaction ID from your Apple receipt so we can verify.
Common issues we resolve daily include: Self-Being Log entries not saving after force-quit, Kegel training reps not incrementing when the phone is in low-power mode, Apple Health step count not appearing on the Tracker screen (usually a permissions issue in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Project β'r), audio sessions cutting out when a bluetooth device disconnects mid-session, and onboarding progress being lost after signing in with a different Apple ID.
Project β'r reads step count only, and only with your explicit permission. If steps aren't appearing on the Tracker screen: open Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Project β'r and confirm "Steps" is turned on. If it is, force-quit the app (swipe up in the app switcher) and reopen it — Apple Health can take a moment to hand over fresh data. If steps still don't appear after a minute, revoke and re-grant the permission and let us know so we can look at logs.
If you signed up for the pre-launch waitlist and haven't received the confirmation email within 5 minutes, check your spam folder first. If it's not there, resubmit the form — the backend is idempotent per email so it won't create a duplicate. If you'd like to change the email address on your waitlist entry, or leave the waitlist entirely, email support@projectbetter.io with the subject "Waitlist".
